Snack Bar was started in 2014 by two award-winning chefs – Mikael Gröndal and Linus Ahlstedt. They won the Golden Dragon in 2012 with their restaurant Chez Betty, and after that they have taken the next step by developing high-quality fast food, focusing on France and Provence.

Today, Snack Bar serves what is considered by many to be Sweden's best kebab by far. Snack Bar was nominated for the Gulddraken in 2015 and 2017 as well as Arla Guldko in 2015. Snack Bar is also mentioned in Phaidon's – Where Chefs Eat, a book and app that provides restaurant recommendations worldwide.

Kebabs, sandwiches, burgers and salads in French

The kebab is the heart of the Snack Bar. The signature dish is a kebab served in a thin galette filled with carefully selected lean grilled veal (112kcal/100gr), our own Sauce blanche and Harissa. Grilled baguettes are also served here, which are made like in France. They are filled with, among other things, burger meat, cheese, grilled chicken kebab, lamb sausage and fries. So-called Americaines. In addition to that, you will also find really good burgers, proper salads and Tabbouleh on the menu.

All dishes are prepared from scratch with homemade sauces and with the best ingredients. The result is filling, tasty and healthier fast food in the French way. Of course, you can get an ice-cold strong beer or a carafe of wine when you're there. Or why not a Pastis?
